The St. Lambert Choral Society is very proud to have been chosen along with 6 other handpicked Québec choirs, to participate in the closing concert of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal’s Virée Classique (Classical Spree) event in 2017, that took place on Sunday August 13, at 11:00am, in Montréal’s Maison symphonique.
In the first part of the concert, each of the invited choirs sang for about ten minutes, under the direction of their conductors, including Xavier Brossard-Ménard for the St. Lambert Choral Society.
In the second part, the choirs came together to sing the Ode to Joy from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, under the direction of Kent Nagano, the conductor of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal.
