Join us on Saturday June 19 at 7:30pm (EDT) for the unveiling of this new pan-Canadian choral work in which we are very proud to have participated this spring.

A pure product of the confinement, Take This Thread / Le fil que je suis is a six-minute song written for massed choir, piano and violin by the young Vancouver composer Katerina Gimon, with a bilingual text from Montreal poet Lauren Peat.

Conceived by Mark Vuorinen, the artistic director of the Grand Philharmonic Choir from Waterloo, this virtual pan-Canadian project brings together over 160 choristers from five choirs from Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia and Quebec, whom we represent.

The launch of Take This Thread / Le fil que je suis will take place in the presence of the entire creative team, the choristers and the public.
