A virtual, pan-Canadian and feminine project…

Our next project will be the production of a work commissioned for two female creative artists: Katerina Gimon, a composer from British Columbia, and Lauren Peat, a Montréal poet.

Conceived by Mark Vuorinen, artistic director and conductor of the Grand Philharmonic Choir from Waterloo, this inspiring virtual pan-Canadian project will unite more than 160 choristers from five choirs in Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia and Québec.

This bilingual work has the title Take This Thread / Le fil que je suis.

World premiere planned for June 2021.

More to come…

We thank the Canada Council for the Arts for its financial support for this project.
