On the occasion of our visit to the Salon Bleu of the National Assembly on Tuesday February 26, we received a very warm welcome from our MNA Mme Nicole Ménard and two important ministers: M. Christian Dubé, President of the Treasury Board, Minister responsible for the Montérégie region, and Mme Nathalie Roy, Minister of Culture and Communications.

To salute our 100th anniversary, the Member for Laporte, Mme Nicole Ménard, paid homage to our choir in a very vibrant public statement at the Salon Bleu of the National Assembly.

“The SLCS amazes our community with their vocal music and diverse repertoire, always interpreted in an elegant way and with perfect harmony…”

Madame Ménard, who attends all our concerts and supports us, also underlined our contribution “to cultural and educational influence by promoting knowledge and appreciation of classical music by people of all ages.”

Our delegation also included Mme France Désaulniers, Municipal Councillor of St. Lambert, and responsible for culture, who also gives us her unwavering support!
